In February 2012, I went to Penang from Manchester (UK) through Beautiful Holidays. I went for 14 veneers and a root canal treatment. I stayed in Penang for 2 weeks and a bit at the Rainbow Pradise Beach Hotel.

Ever since I was a teenager I have had problems with my teeth. They are not nicely shaped nor are they a nice colour. I have tried whitening them but this made them very sensitive so this was not something I wanted to repeat. There is a TV series on telly in the UK called TOWIE. It is about a group of young people and most of them have had plastic surgery or veneers. I knew for sure that I did not want to look like that. My husband calls it the racehorse mouth. For me it was important that the veneers were nicely shaped and sized.

I went to see 3 different dentists in Manchester and was quoted between 9800 GBP and 15.500 GBP for the 14 veneers and 1 root canal. This was way out of my budget. I also have to admit that with 2 of the dentists I was not that impressed with the previous work they showed me. A colleague of my husband had been to Penang for a breast lift. While she was there she had a crown fitted and was very impressed with the dentist. This is how I came into contact with Beautiful Holidays.

Tony and I emailed back and forth with a lot of questions. I was impressed with the answers the dentist gave me and also that he wanted to talk to my dentist about the root canal treatment. This put me at ease, it meant they would not just accept anybody. We worked out the cost and ended up paying just a little under GBP 6000. This was for all the dental treatments, the flights for 2 people from Manchester to Penang, 16 nights at the Paradise Sandy bay and our spending money while in Penang. This was much more feasible for me and my husband then the dentistry in the UK, as it meant we also had our annual winter holiday!

Obviously I was a little nervous before going to Penang. I liked that Tony had arranged for me to have my first meeting with the dentist on the day of arrival. It was just an introduction and he did a full check up and clean (with Xrays included). This made me feel so much better and it gave me even more confidence in the skills of the dentist. I lost count on how many hours I have spend in the dental chair (and I don't care anymore because the results say it all). All my appointments were pre booked and it was nice that Beautiful Holidays put so much thought in booking them. They were always booked in the late afternoon for me, so that we could still sleep inn and enjoy some sights or tanning after breakfast.

We have fallen in love with Penang (and the dentist, Tony and staff). The hotel was lovely and the rooms great; the large balconies with sea view were an absolute joy. The only down side of it all was that it is rather far away. We would have been there a lot more often if it was not such a long flight. I am now saving up to go back in a few years for a small cosmetic procedure and my husband wants to have some dental work done. If you are considering dental treatment and are looking for high quality with great service I can only recommend Beautiful Holidays. They have my details on file so do email me if you would have any questions.

In April 2011, I went out to Penang from Darwin (AU) through Beautiful Holidays. I was going for a lower face and neck lift with a male breast reduction under LA with a 3-night hospital stay in a single room. For 10 days I was at the G Hotel.

Being a man I did not know much about surgery as it just doesn't get written about much or talked about. I also didn't know anybody that had surgery before so I had nothing to go on. So my research started and by the time I finished I could have written a book. Australia was out because of the cost and I did not fancy having to talk to people afterwards. I considered Thailand but the human approach seemed to miss. Then I found Beautiful Holidays.

I had many questions for beautiful holidays about thesurgeon, his qualifications, the hospital etc. Via email they were all answered quickly. Also Tony gave me a good vibe, even via email. The surgeon also called me so that I could have my last doubts erased. It felt like the right choice.
Beautiful Holidays organised everything for me once we had agreed a date for me to go, and Marloes was there to greet me when I landed. She took me to the hotel and made sure I had all that I need. There was also a schedule so I could see when I had to do what. The next day at 9 was my consultation followed by the surgery if I was happy.

The consult lasted about 1 hour and was very understandable in a way that he would use the proper medical terms but then would also explain it in laymen's terms. I was then ready to go ahead with the surgery.

My biggest concern was my facelift, you can hide your bruised chest but a bruised and battered face is harder, especially when you are a man. 7 hours or so later I woke on my single hospital room. From the moment I had my first injection till waking up I don't remember anything. I was told some people might remember bits but I guess jetlag and tiredness all took its toll.

Over the next 3 days Tony and Marloes came to see me several times. Always with something to eat or a newspaper or some (smuggled in) Starbucks coffee. The staff at the hospital were friendly and made me feel comfortable. There was some pain, especially in my chest but great drugs kept most of it at bay. Dr Danny came to see me at least twice a day and always took his time. I was looking forward to go back to the hotel though.

After discharge from the hospital, I went to Dr Danny 4 times for checkups. All looked good and I was glad I seemed to be a fast healer. Most of my time in Penang I just hung out at the hotel, walked down to the shopping mall and ate rather a lot. They don't lie when they tell you food in Penang is great!

My experience was good and I would recommend anybody to go to Beautiful Holidays. The staff are all great, friendly and the hospital and surgeon are professional and clean. You feel better looked after than at home, especially with the nurses in hospital. Dr Danny is a kind and funny man and hurt me a few times with his dry jokes (laughing hurt my chest the first week). Bedside manners the majority of surgeons at home can learn something from.

I think that using this company took the hassle out of everything for me. I did not have to think or arrange anything. All I had to do was heal and get better. The results for my face are great. I am 58 but looked about 70 before surgery and I now look a fresh mid 50's. The results kept on changing and now, 6 months after surgery, I can say I am very happy. My chest is flat now, something I had not had since my mid twenties. It is a little uneven (only visible to me) but this can happen as there was rather a lot to remove. Dr Danny does say to give it another 6 months and it will smooth out. I have trusted the man with so much, I do trust him on this as well.

In March 2010 I came from Reims (France) to Beautiful Holidays in Penang for a breast augmentation with lift procedure and my boyfriend had 14 veneers. We stayed at the G Hotel for 10 nights. The procedure was done under LA with IV sedation.

For me after 2 children I knew I wanted to have my breasts a size bigger. I breast fed both my children for 6 months so there was lots of sagging. I send my pictures to beautiful holidays and was told that if I wanted to have firm breasts I need to go for a big implant which would take my breasts to a D cup. I am a petite woman so I did not want to go this big. The surgeon suggested I go for a smaller size implant which would take my breasts to a B cup and then do lift to get rid of the skin that was too much. Marcel wanted a better shape and white color for his teeth and the dentist suggested veneers. This is very expensive in France so when I saw that beautiful holiday could do this at the same time we were happy to go to Penang together.

We spend Euro 8400 on the breast surgery, 14 veneers, 10 night at the G Hotel and our tickets from France to Penang. Our children stayed with my parents as we felt they were too young to enjoy the holiday and I wanted to take my time recovering. During our email conversations with beautiful holidays we spoke about the time frame of everything. When I would have the consult, when Marcel would have his, when I would be in hospital etc. It was great to know everything in advance and this made me very comfortable. I also talked to a woman that had the same surgery as me, this made my decision easier. Especially what to expect after surgery.

When we arrive in Penang we were taken from the airport to go to our hotel by Marloes. It was nice for me that she spoke French although it was good to also practice my English. I was not nervous as I had researched this very well. The next day I had my consult with the surgeon. I was happy with what he had told me and the surgery followed. At this time Marcel had his consultation and he was impressed with the clinic and how modern it was. He felt like the dentist did not try to sell anything to him and his only comment was that it's not easy to sit still for 3 hours in the dentist chair.

My surgery went without any problem but I was vomiting a lot afterwards. I got an injection from the surgeon to stop this and once I was in my hospital room I felt much better. Marcel came to see me in the evening. I also got some flowers from Marloes which was very nice. It was good in the hospital but I was only there for 1 night, I did notice how very friendly the nurses were compared to France.

I slept mostly for the first day back at the hotel. I was not in pain as I had many medications to take care of the pain but they did make me want to sleep. The surgeon had told me I could take a shower and that felt really very good. The next day I had my check up and all was going well. I was a little shocked at how red and big the scars looked but was told this will get better and that already in 1 week it would look less angry. It was then weekend so we just stayed around the hotel. I did miss a balcony. The hotel was great and it was next to the shops and many places to eat. I had 2 more check ups with the surgeon and got some time to enjoy our holiday. The surgeon was really very nice. Marcel spend another 3.5 hours in the dentist chair but easily got through it with his I pod.

Now it is 3 months after my surgery and I am very happy with the results. Marcel is also happy with his veneers and it makes a big difference to before. We are both satisfied with our holiday and the good care we got from Marloes. My scars are slowly fading and the shape of my breast is starting to look very good.

In February 2010 I came to Australia to Beautiful Holidays in Penang for 10 veneers and 6 crowns. I stayed at the Paradise Sandy bay hotel for 10 nights and paid a total of AU$ 4780 for veneers, crowns and dental package, hotel and all services. My flight to Penang was on Airasia from Melbourne and cost AU$ 760.

Last year my niece went to Penang with Beautiful Holidays for liposuction. When she came back she had nothing but great things to say about her holiday and the results. While she was there she had her teeth whitened using laser. I have always wanted to get something done with my teeth but never thought I could afford to undergo cosmetic dentistry, since prices here are so high. My niece told me how friendly the dentist had been and how professional the clinic was, this made me think it might be worth investigating. I started emailing with Meloes at Beautiful holidays that same week.

After emailing back and forth we had decided that it might be a good idea to go and see my dentist so that he could suggest what I needed to have done. My dentist said I could go for 10 veneers and 6 crowns. This would give me the smile I wanted. I also got the quotation for having the work done with him and this came to AU$ 23.400. I send my report back to Meloes and she got me the quote from the dentist. The cost in Penang would be just under AU$ 4200 for the dental work. I added the hotel, flights (for me and hubby) and some spending money to it and it still came to less than a third of what I would have to pay in Melbourne.

When we reached Penang Tony came to pick us up from the airport. On our way to the hotel he talked us through what would happen during my stay. I required 3 dental visits but the rest of the time I could go out and enjoy the beach and city. Dr Lim, the dentist was every bit as nice as my niece had told me. He went about in a very professional way which put me at ease. The first 2 appointment were not painful which was a great relief. Dr Lim assured me that the week after when my veneers and crowns would be fitted there would also be no pain and he was right.

We really enjoyed our holiday in Penang and will come back. I have been to Thailand before and was amazed at how different it was. The food in Penang is great and Tony was sure to send us to a few local places which was just amazing. We made a budget for food but we never even came close, it's so cheap. That money was spend on shopping though!

The results are great! I can't sing the praises of Dr Lim enough, I finally have the smile I always wanted and he really did work some magic. Tony and Marloes were always on time to pick me up for my appointment and made the holiday feel like we had some friends in Penang showing us the inns and outs of the place. From my experience I can certainly recommend this to anybody; why pay so much at home when you can have it done cheaper and maybe even better elsewhere while enjoying a holiday on top of it all..

In December 2009 I came from Tauranga (NZ) to Beautiful Holidays in Penang for a facelift procedure. I stayed at the Paradise Sandy Beach Hotel for 17 nights. The procedure was done under LA with an IV sedation.

Ever since I turned 50 I knew there was something I wanted to do about the drooping skin on my neck and jowls. It was a big step for me and after consulting a surgeon in my home town I knew it would take me a long time saving up for the procedure. As I got older, and the sagging got worst, I talked to my husband about our options. He had always wanted to travel to Asia so we started exploring what we could do, maybe a holiday combined with my surgery. This is how we came across beautiful holidays.

From the first email that I send them (in March) I felt they were honest and professional. I checked with 3 other companies in Asia, some were cheaper and some more expensive. Most felt like they just send a standard reply to my questions, never really answering them but beautiful holidays always did. They also replied to my emails in a quick manner which is a good thing if you’re as inpatient and excited as I was. My husband liked Penang as a place to holiday as he had heard it was a good starting place for people going to Asia for the first time. Sorting out the flight was easy as we have a great travel agent that helped us and even suggested a 3 day stopover in Singapore which was amazing.

We spend NZ$ 6200 on the facelift surgery including 17 overnights in the hotel. We spend another NZ$ 5000 on tickets, food and the stopover in Singapore. It was well worth it and the trip of a lifetime for us. Our whole holiday was booked in June so we had lots of time to get ready for our holiday and my surgery.

When we got to Penang after a long journey I was extremely nervous. Marloes met us at the airport and brought us to our hotel. Along the car ride she answered all of my questions and showed us some of Penang which put me at ease. My consult was later that day and my procedure was to be the following day. Tony picked us up to meet Dr Danny for my consult. During the consult the procedure was explained to me in great detail, maybe even too much detail. The surgeon in NZ had not told me about all the possible things that could go wrong so it was a bit of a shock. I do feel that it was good that I was told all this as it made me make an informed decision about my surgery. He made me sit up on the bench and look at myself in the mirror, then he asked me to lie down flat and hold the mirror over my face to see what the facelift would do to my face, I thought that was neat little trick and it made me realize I would be happy with the results. I really liked Dr Danny so that was a bonus.

On the day of my surgery Marloes came to pick me up and my husband came along for support. I was extremely nervous. Dr Danny took the dreaded before pictures and I then it was time to say goodbye to my husband and time for surgery. I do not remember much from then on, only waking up to the surgeon telling me it was done and I had done well and he was pleased. I was taken to the ward where I was to stay for 2 nights.

The hospital stay was not great, I missed my husband and was worried about the bandages and swelling. Dr Danny came to see me twice a day which did put me at ease. My husband was taken in a few times to visit me in the hospital but I was just very tired. The nurse care was good and they gave me a lot of attention. I can only say I was happy to be leaving the hospital and getting back to the hotel to focus on my recovery.

During my first few days back at the hotel I just slept and relaxed. The dvd player and movies was nice but I never managed to watch a movie till the end as I kept on dozing off. At my first check up Dr Danny was very happy and he showed me in the mirror how my recovery was going and told me I would be very happy with the results. He took his time for me as he must have felt I was not a pleased person. This made a big difference and I did start feeling a little better after this. Marloes insisted I try and get out of the hotel and enjoy Penang a bit and I think the little push she gave me really helped as we started planning little things to do each day and it changed my frame of mind. At the one week point I was doing much better (though feeling a little silly for my not so nice behaviour up to that point). The second week of our holiday we really got to enjoy Penang and it is truly a lovely island.

Some of the things we did included going for foot reflexology, the fruit garden, the malls, the heritage trail with all its magnificent old buildings and lots of eating out. I had my checkups with Dr Danny and once the stitches were removed I really felt a difference.

I am now 4 months along after my surgery and holiday and I am extremely happy with the results. The incisions are barely visible and I get lots of compliments from the people around me. There is some stiffness here and there but I am confident that this will get better over time as Dr Danny says. Marloes and Tony were a blessing during our holiday and my recovery, nothing was too much and they did it all with a smile. We will be coming back to Penang as my husband wants to have some dental work done next year. I recommend Beautiful Holidays with an A+. Thanks again to beautiful holidays and Dr Danny.

In June 2008 I came from Bristol (UK) to Beautiful Holidays in Penang for a facelift and a tummy tuck surgery. I stayed at the Lone Pine Hotel for 12 nights. The procedure was done under LA with an IV sedation.

I am 53 years old, but mentally I feel very young and to make matters worst I probably looked like a 60 years old. There was no amount of creams, facials and tightening treatments that were going to improve my body or my face. I have always been skinny but started putting on the weight after I went through my meno pause. My legs and arms stayed slim but it was really my waist and abdomen that put on the weight.

After a lot of research I had decided I wanted to go ahead with a facelift and liposuction or a tummy tuck. Now came the big question; which surgeon to go with and how do you find somebody. I was getting none the wiser on the Internet as there were just so many stories, good and bad, around. I started bringing up the subject of cosmetic surgery with my friends and colleagues. The wife of my co worked had been to Beautiful Holidays for surgery 2 years previously and I started talking to her which gave me a lot of confidence. So finally I was in contact with what seemed the right people. They answered all my questions, after 2 months of intense emailing with Merloes I decided to take the step and booked my trip.

My surgery, hotel stay, flight and spending money came to GBP 5000. I did end up putting another 300 on my card just on shopping J

When I got on the plane I was sheer nerves! It was not much better by the time I landed in Penang. The moment I met Tony, who picked me up from the airport, I felt better although the lack of sleep was starting to kick in. On the way from the airport to the hotel Tony told me what I could expect over the next days. My consult was the next afternoon and surgery the morning after that.

Marloes met me at my hotel and took me to meet the Surgeon for my consult Dr. Danny, it was great having her there and helping me decide on which surgery to go for on my abdomen. At that point I was not sure if I wanted liposuction or a tummy tuck and after weighing the pro's and con's I decided for the tummy tuck. Dr. Danny discussed the procedures in detail and gave me the consent forms to read before surgery the next day. He made me feel very good about myself by showing me pictures of people that looked a lot worse than me to begin with, which was nice J

The next day Tony picked me up for surgery and of course I was nervous to say the least. I was given some tablets to help me relax and then it was surgery time. They took pictures and I was prepped for surgery. I remember nothing from then on, only waking up to the surgeon telling me it was done and I had done good and he was pleased with the results so far.

My hospital stay was 2 nights and it was good with friendly care. I still can't start to talk enthusiastically about this as I was feeling very sorry for myself and slightly depressed at that time. The nurses, surgeon and Merloes were very nice and I got a lot of attention. Truth was I looked like I was hit by a bus and I just didn't see it getting right. Obviously now I can tell you different but this was a very hard time for me which I don't want to picture here as something it was not.

Prior to my surgery I was told to expect heavy emotional feelings..I just was not prepared for it to be so bad. Thank god for the patience the whole team in Penang had with me. The depression certainly made my holiday less enjoyable though the last 3 days it got much much better. All in all I am now so happy with my results. Everybody comments on how good I look and I now have a stomach and face to match my personality. Would I have plastic surgery again.....no very likely not. But if anybody asks I will certainly recommend Beautiful Holiday to them; they really made the best out of a bad situation and I can’t stress how great the results are. No surgeon here in the UK could have done a better job.

In February 2006 I came from Australia to Beautiful Holidays in Penang for liposuction, lip enlargement, botox and breast augmentation surgery. I stayed at the Paradise Sandy Bay Hotel for 14 nights for my surgery. The procedure was done under LA with an IV sedation

On 4th February 2006, I made the long trip from Adelaide, Australia to Penang, Malaysia to have a long awaited breast Augmentation. I stayed for 14 nights at the Bayview beach resort.

As a 31-year-old mother of 4, I was disappointed with the size of my breasts. I was flat chested pre children, and had always been unhappy with the size. I decided it was best for me to wait until I had my children before embarking on any surgery. I was a healthy 65 kg, 174 cm tall, also with unwanted fat deposits around my hip thigh and knee area. I decided to have liposuction to these areas also.

I consulted a cosmetic surgeon in Australia and was quoted $ 9000 AUD just for breast Augmentation alone.

So, shopping around on the Internet looking for cosmetic surgeons within Australia I accidentally came across Beautiful Holidays web page. I initially submitted a quote for Breast Augmentation, and was happy with the quote $4 800 AUD, I decided to throw in a few extra procedures!

I was then quoted Breast Augmentation, liposuction to 4 areas, Botox to crow's-feet and Lip Augmentation (fat transfer), I was pleasantly surprised that I could have all of these procedures done for the price of the breast augmentation in Australia!

I will admit I was absolutely petrified at the thought of going overseas for surgery, one because I had heard and read about awful stories, two that I had never been overseas! I researched and spoke to the Australian Plastic Surgery Society and received positive feedback about Malaysia. Not to mention the 100’s of emails I had sent to Wim.

So, I decided to throw caution into the wind and do it. I arrived in Penang on 4th February and was met by Wim at the airport, he took me to my hotel Bayview Beach resort. He was easy going and made me feel really relaxed.

Day two, I wandered out of my hotel and went for a walk along the beach, I came across a tour company and just decided to go on a tour, spent the whole day seeing the sights of Penang, and did not get home until 7 pm that night !

Day 3, sunned myself out in the gardens at rear of the hotel, and turned myself into a very painful lobster! Not good, I had gotten deep painful sun burn on the front of my right thigh.

Day 4, Marloes met me at my hotel and took me to meet the Surgeon, Dr. Danny. She made me feel very much at ease and at this point I was feeling really comfortable with my decision. I met Dr. Danny and we discussed the procedures in great depth, he was extremely funny and a lovely man, he showed me pictures of his Art and discussed what type of outcome I wanted in relation to my breasts.. I chose cleavage of course! I was taken into another room with the nurse where I tried on the implants for size. I chose 435 g silicon. After I had decided on the implant, I was taken back into the waiting room where I was given some tablets to help me relax. A little while later It was procedure time. I was photographed, prepped for surgery. I was given an injection, and don't remember much after that.

I woke up in a gorgeous hospital room, and don't remember how I got there. First thing I did was peeked at my chest and saw Boobs I was mystified! I vaguely remember Tony coming in to deliver flowers!

The next day I was taken back to my hotel, where I was now self sufficient with pain relief medication and all the gauzes and creams I needed. I was not in a lot of pain, apart from my thigh, as I had been badly sunburnt and had swelling from the liposuction. I had very neat stiches under neath my nipples, and a lot of swelling in my ankles from the liposuction, this was normal I was told.

I did try and have a bath, but I do not recommend this if you are alone, it took me 30 minutes to work out how I was going to get out of the bath, as I had the implants put under the muscle and could not lift myself out, was pretty entertaining experience.

After lots of recovery and shopping!! and 4 check ups with Dr. Danny I was ready to go home !

I was taken out for drinks at my hotel with Wim, and yes the long island tea was a memorable experience!!! We had a great time and a lot of laughs and giggles. The day after was a sad day, I had to go… Tony took me out for lunch at the E&O, and then took me to the airport. I arrived home feeling exhausted, excited and happy with myself!

4 months later I am in size 11 jeans, 32 DD breasts, no wrinkles and lips that Angelina would be jealous of !!! Thanks to all the staff at BH, for making me feel great about myself again. Dr. Danny you are a true master in your field, ill be back when and if I need anything else done.

In April 2006 I came from England to Beautiful Holidays in Penang for a tummy tuck and breast augmentation surgery. I stayed at the Parkroyal Hotel for 14 nights for my surgery. The procedure was done under LA with an IV sedation

After years of hating my many times pregnant body (3) I decided it was time to do something about it. I wanted bigger, better boobs and a tummy tuck so I decided to get them done together, a typical 'mummy makeover'. I knew the surgery would be costly in the UK, so, having heard about medical tourism and 'surgery and safari' holidays I started looking around on the internet. We emailed quite a number of companies, in various countries, for information. The one that appealed the most was based in Malaysia but, after many exchanges of email, we were concerned that the quoted price changed each time we spoke. We decided to look for alternatives in Malaysia, which was when we came across Beautiful Holidays, which hadn't come up in our earlier searches.

From the first email to Beautiful Holidays we were impressed. They replied quickly and clearly, coming up with a quote for the two procedures that they stuck to throughout. There was also the chance to have a no obligation consultation with the surgeon in the UK which we took advantage of. I met Dr Danny in Manchester and he immediately put me at ease. He answered any questions I had and was very open about the possible risks and likely results of the surgery. The consultation removed any last doubts so I went ahead and emailed Wim to book the surgery and accommodation in the Grand Plaza Park Royal for myself, my husband and our 5 year old son.

A few months later we arrived in Penang on a Sunday evening and Wim was waiting to take us to the hotel. He made sure we were settled into the room, gave us some more information about Penang in general and made arrangements for the next day when I would have my surgery.

The next morning Marloes arrived to take us all to the clinic where I was to have the surgery. After a brief talk with Dr Danny, Marloes left with my husband and son and I was taken into the theatre for my op. The next thing I really remember is waking up once both procedures were done and being taken to a private room.

The nursing care I received throughout my hospital stay was outstanding, I cannot commend them enough. I was in a little pain which was to be expected but was soon given pain killers which did the trick. Wim came to visit in the evening with flowers just to check everything went well. I was in the hospital until Wednesday lunchtime and then went back to the hotel where I spent the next few days laid up in my room. While the boobs weren't that sore, the tummy tuck made moving around very difficult and painful.

By the second week, I could start moving around more and taking advantage of the hotel and surroundings. We'd chosen the hotel as it looked like it had good facilities for children and that proved to be the case. My son loved the beach, pool and waterslide and had a great time at the kids club. Penang was a great place, the people were all really polite and friendly and I couldn't believe how cheap the food or night markets were. (Leave room in your suitcase for the bargains here!)

I continued to straighten up throughout that second week and it was a week or two after I got home that my stomach had eased completely and I could walk totally normally. It was all worth it though, as I absolutely love my new shape. Everybody has commented at home on the new me and I'm wearing a bikini again after 16 years. I can't thank everyone at Beautiful holidays enough, Dr Danny, Marloes, Wim and Tony for their commitment to me as a client. They are professional, consistent, informative and generally down to earth friendly people who now feel like friends.

In November 2005 I came from England to Beautiful Holidays in Penang for a lower body lift surgery. I stayed at the Paradise Sandy Bay Hotel for 18 nights for my surgery. The procedure was done under LA with an IV sedation

8 years ago I had had a lower body lift with a surgeon in the UK and paid GBP 8000 for this. It was not an easy surgery and it took me some time to recover from it. After my body lift I did put back on some weight and lost it again which made for my results of the previous lift to diminish a bit. I felt I was still young enough to want to look good and made an effort in going to the gym and kept in shape. A woman at my tennis club had been to Beautiful Holidays for a tummy tuck and was very pleased with her results. This made me get in touch with them and explore my options. I went to one of the consultation in Manchester and met with Dr Danny. He told me my scars were great and that the surgeon had done a good job. We decided together that we could improve the look of my legs and bum and I felt in good hands with Dr Danny as he took his time explaining to me the risks and the results I could expect. I felt that as I had this surgery before I knew what was coming and what to expect. I started booking my trip with Wim and decided that I would stay a bot over 2 weeks so that I would feel comfortable enough to fly back home.

Arrival; Marloes was at the airport to take me to my hotel. We had a lovely chat on the way over and she told me a bit about Penang and what life here was like. When we arrived at the hotel she made sure that all was well in my hotel and she pointed out a few restaurants and things to do in the area. I opted to only have my surgery one day after I arrived so I spend most of Monday looking around Penang, did some shopping and prepared myself for my surgery the next day.

Surgery; when we came to the clinic I had another consultation with Dr Danny and once again he told me about the procedure and the risk involved. One of the nurses gave me some papers which I had to read though and sign. It explained in detail about the procedure and there was a consent form. Marloes left me to the care of the nurses who prepared me for the surgery. Dr Danny took some before pictures as I was laid on the operation table. After that I do not remember much. I woke up 2 times during surgery but was not with it. The nurse told me later I asked about the weather. When I woke up again the operation was finished and Dr Danny was talking to me. They left me to rest a bit before putting me in a wheelchair to bring me to the ward.

In the hospital; I slept most of the time after that though the nurses came in what felt like every 5 minutes to take my blood pressure, temperature or giving me medication. Wim came in with some lovely flowers but I don’t remember much apart from saying hello. The next day I felt better but the pain was a lot worst. Dr Danny came to se me and gave me some injections against the pain. He told me the nurses would shower me if I wanted but I asked him if it would be okay to do this later as I did not see myself come out of the bed yet. Dr Danny told me it was good to move so when Marloes came a bit later we asked the nurses to help me with a little walk. I used on of those walking racks and after 2 minutes decided I wanted to get back into bed. The food in the hospital was not bad but it was not to my taste. Marloes stayed for a while just chatting to me which was a nice distraction. In the evening Wim came to see me with a salad and a Latte tea from starbucks. I felt hungry but after 2 bites this felling passed and I went back to sleep. A few hours later I woke up and the nurse asked me if I wanted to reheat my tea which was a lovely gesture and showed how nice the nurses are there. I slept through most of the night though I was still woken every hour by the nurses. I could not wait to get back to the hotel and try to sleep through the night. I made a few trips into the hall way with my walking rack which was going better and better. Dr Danny discharged me from the hospital and Marloes came to pick me up to take me back to the hotel.

Back at the hotel; once we got to the hotel Marloes had arranged for a wheelchair to take me back to my room but I felt I could try the walk; half way through she had to run down and get the wheelchair as the walk was a bit too far. My DVD player was installed and I had lots of movies to watch which I planned on enjoying. The moment Marloes closed the door I fell asleep though and slept for 6 hours. I woke up with some pain as I had missed taking my painkillers. I watched a movie and ordered some food through room service which was lovely but too much. The next day I had a check up with Dr Danny and Wim came to my room to take me. Walking was going better and the pain was less, I just felt very stiff from all the lying around. Everything was okay during my check up and this put me at ease.

Holiday; after my check up I still spend most of the day in my room and on the balcony. Marloes had given me the room number of another client staying in Penang so I gave her a call and we agreed to meet for dinner. It was certainly nice talking about and comparing surgery and we had a lovely pizza opposite the hotel. We arrange to meet up the next day and we went for shopping trip in Gurney Plaza. I was still not moving around as freely as I liked but it got better each day. It was hard to stay on my diet as the food was so nice and plentiful but sometimes it would hurt and I would think what I did it for and resist the temptation. Towards the end of the holidays Marloes and Wim too me and 2 other clients for a lovely seafood dinner and I enjoyed my first glass of wine after 12 days. Before the dinner I had a pamper day and got a manicure and pedicure which was pure bliss.

Back home; the flight was not easy. I got stiff from sitting too long so I kept on getting up which upset my neighbour. I was happy to be in my house and own bed though once home. It felt good to put on trousers that were tights before and now started fitting very well, especially around my legs.

My last trip; I had always wanted to do my upper and lower eyelids. It was too much to do this at the same time as my body lift so Wim and I planned that I would come back for my next holiday and get them done. I am now back home and very happy with the results of both my surgeries even though they were 7 months apart. Eyes were a walk in the park compared to the body lift and I had a lovely time seeing some more things of Penang and enjoying the spa which I could not do the first holiday. I cannot praise Wim and Marloes enough for their good care and always good moods. They have made this a much easier experience then when I would have had the surgery on my own. It helped that they were from Europe and understood my wishes and needs. Tony took me to one of my check ups and he was a lovely fellow. I felt cared for and looked after at all times which was probably the most important for me and made me feel secure. If you are considering going overseas for your surgery I would definitely recommend Wim and Marloes. Though my surgery was a very heavy one I feel it still was more comfortable then it was the first time I did it at home. Wim has my email address so if you are considering a lower body lift then I would be happy to talk you through my 2 experiences. Beautiful Holidays thanks again for everything!

In March 2006 I came from England to Beautiful Holidays in Penang for a breast lift surgery. I stayed at the E&O Hotel for 7 nights for my surgery. The procedure was done under LA with an IV sedation

I had always longed to have breast surgery for as long as I can remember. In my teens I gained weight quite rapidly and that, along with incorrectly fitting bras, proved to be a disaster as my breasts grew bigger and my skin stretched so much that my breasts got flatter & flatter.

I came across an article in a magazine one day which had a write up about surgery abroad and gave details of the different companies. I looked at each website and I found Beautiful Holidays (BH) to be the most appealing, although at this point I never dreamed that I would actually go any further than looking. It wasn’t until I spoke to my partner about it that he urged me to look into it further if it was something I was really interested in so I asked for a quote on the breast lift and two weeks holiday in a five star hotel. I was amazed at how reasonable the price was, even more so when I contacted the Harley Medical Group in the UK and was given an estimate of around £4500, more than double what Beautiful Holidays was charging. I immediately booked a consultation with the surgeon in Manchester and when I met him he made me feel really at ease and discussed all aspects of the surgery. I had decided that I was going ahead with the surgery even before I'd left the room because I really felt comfortable. Of course, I made sure I did my research before booking with Beautiful Holidays but overall it was the best decision I've made in a long time.

Touching down in Penang, I was greeted by Wim who took me and my partner to our hotel by private car. I met all three representatives of BH at some point and all were really friendly and made sure they looked after you. Wim ensured we were checked into our hotel and settled into our room before leaving us to get on with the holiday. BH even gave us a welcome pack advising us of all the places to see and eat and where to buy the bargains. The weather was beautiful and we stayed at the E&O Hotel, which was also gorgeous and the people again were really friendly. They treated you like royalty. There were plenty of bars and restaurants to keep us entertained on a night so all in all we had a good holiday.

I was not nervous at all about the surgery. I think I was more nervous after I woke up from the anesthetics when I saw how swollen my breasts looked. Although Dr Danny did warn me before surgery that my breasts would look unusually high, I was still shocked when I saw them, however, I neednt have worried because, as promised, my breasts returned to normal once the swelling went down. I must admit I wasnt in too much pain after the surgery although when they did begin to throb I would just take some painkillers. I had a very restless night in the hospital because I could only lie on my back but that was to be expected. The hospital was very clean and the nurses were friendly enough. Again the BH staff visited to make sure I was ok.

All in all the whole experience was really good and I would definitely recommend Beautiful Holidays to anyone who was seriously considering surgery. I know I'd definitely go back again in the future if anything else begins to go wrong on my body! In the end we could only stay in Penang for a week but I would definitely recommend staying longer because as well as having coming home with loads more confidence I also had a great holiday.

In February 2006 we came from the UK to Beautiful Holidays in Penang for a male breast reduction and liposuction surgery and a breast lift, nipple correction and liposuction. We stayed at the E&O Hotel for 13 nights for our surgery. The procedure was done under LA with an IV sedation.

After extensive research, various consultations and copious emails, Paul and I arrived tired but excited after an over night flight to begin our Beautiful Holiday.

We had both been unhappy with our bodies for years, It’s that same old story, I was unhappy with my breasts after child birth and weight loss, I addition, child bearing hips are the bane of all the women in my family.

Paul, although a slim person carried some excess weight around his midriff that would not disappear no matter how many sit ups or hours spent on the treadmill.

Both of us also wanted some work done to our teeth.

We met just over a year ago. I introduced him to TV programmes such as extreme maker and The Swan and confided in him that I would like to have surgery. He also became interested and started to research surgery holidays after we saw a story in a magazine. Where I was thinking and dreaming about it, Paul decided that we were actually going to do it. So, here we were.

We arrived on Sunday afternoon and were met at the airport by Wim who took us to our hotel, The Eastern and Oriental. We had decided that we were going to do this in luxury and style which is why we chose that hotel. Even so, the price of luxury was small. On the journey we went through our itinerary, we had informed BH of our requirements before our trip and everything was already organised for us. However, we were still undecided on the final treatment, I had a list of ‘would like to have’ but I was waiting to see Dr Danny before making my final decision. Our Itinerary went as follows

Monday – Dentist appointments
Consultation with Dr Danny, our Surgeon
Tuesday- Paul’s Surgery
My consultation with Dr Lee
Wednesday My Surgery
Thursday Check ups for both of us
Friday Dentist appointments

The second week was all about check ups and relaxation.

Upon arrival at the hotel, Wim helped us check in and then came to our room with us to ensure that all was in order, and then he left us to relax and arranged to pick us up the following day.

Our room was fabulous. We went out for a walk around and ate dinner out. How lovely to be out of the cold winter of the UK and wearing T shirts, shorts and flip flops.

Early on Monday morning, we were picked up by Marloes, she took us first to meet the dentist, and we both wanted tooth whitening and some veneers. After the consultation, I decided to have six veneers at the top. I felt sorry for Paul because the dentist could not do his because his teeth are quite wide apart and also one tooth sticks out too far. First he would have to wear a brace to bring them more into line. I was really happy about mine though.

Next we went to meet Dr Danny. I was undecided whether to have just a breast lift or also have implants too. After my consultation, I was happy to have it confirmed that I had enough breast tissue to have just a lift. I also confirmed that I would have some Liposuction on my hips too. My other desire was to have nipple correction, I have always had inverted nipples, I was ecstatic when Dr Danny said he would be able to carry out this procedure.

Paul was to have Lipo to his stomach, hips and breast area. We were both very happy with Dr Danny, he went into great detail on the procedures, risks and we were shown lots of before and after photos, we left him feeling even more excited about the treatments.

On Tuesday morning, we were again picked up to take Paul for his surgery. It was difficult to leave him there but he was fine. I went off to meet with another surgeon with a view to having some small procedures on my face. He advised me that I don’t really need anything yet so I opted for a little Botox, well, come on, what can I say??

Marloes dropped me back at the hotel then to relax and then Tony picked me up in the evening to visit Paul in the Hospital.

My first impression was that he looked so thin, I could not believe the difference in him, he was still sleeping but woke up when I got there. He was in some discomfort but after being given some pain killers he was hungry within half an hour. I think that it is only fair to say that after having 10 ½ pints taken out of him, he would undoubtedly be in some pain. After my initial shock of seeing him (when I almost chickened out of my surgery) Paul reassured me that everything was fine with him and I should be brave and not worry. I stayed with him for a few hours and then left to prepare myself for the next morning.

I was picked up bright and early by Wim, first he took me to see Paul again who was looking and feeling much better, then I was delivered to Dr Danny.

I was given a relaxant straight away and within minutes all my doubts, fears and misgivings disappeared. I was asleep as soon as I lay on the table. I woke up a couple of times during my surgery as did Paul; this was because we had opted for a local anaesthetic with an IV sedation where the risks are less then with GA. As soon as I woke up though, I was asleep again but I remember asking Dr Danny what bit he was doing then and another time saying, have you nearly finished yet. The next time I knew anything was when I was woken up and y surgery was complete. I was wheeled into the hospital and then I went back to sleep. I felt really good when Paul came to see me that evening and I was absolutely thrilled with the results. Dr. Danny also popped in later that night and then again the following morning. He informed me that he would carry out the nipple correction the following week as it would have been too much to do it all at once. I was really happy to go back to our hotel room so that Paul and I could relax and recover together.

It was great that we went through it all together, we helped each other and it brought us even closer. After a couple of days, we started venturing out and on the Saturday night Beautiful Holidays organised a night out and we met up with the other patients for a beautiful meal and drinks. We had crossed paths with some of them during our regular checkups but it was lovely to sit down with them and hear their stories. Whilst on one check-up, we met an American lady who had gone to have surgery with Dr Danny but organised through a different company. We were horrified to find that she had no local contact, no on going support and had to organise all her own appointments and take taxis everywhere she wanted to go. She was left totally alone. We didn’t have to think about a thing for ourselves, everything we wanted to do was organised for us and Wim, Tony or Marloes picked us up and dropped us off. We even had some business suits and shirts made while we were there, all organised by Marloes.

The following Tuesday, I had my nipple correction done and on the last Friday I had my veneers fitted. I feel like all my bits that I wasn’t happy with have been fixed. We are absolutely over the moon and are extremely grateful to Beautiful Holidays.

We made some great friends and had a lovely holiday. I cannot thank Marloes and her team enough.

Back home and all our female relations are busy writing the lists for the things they want to have. I would recommend Beautiful Holidays and Dr Danny to my own Mum. For myself, I will go back for that facial stuff when the time is right and I think that Paul would too.

In January 2006 I came from Hong Kong to Beautiful Holidays in Penang for a breast augmentation surgery. I stayed at the E&O Hotel for 7 nights for my surgery. The procedure was done under LA with an IV sedation

Since I am young I wanted to have breast that are bigger. I can see when I was 18 or 19 that my breast does not grow anymore. I do not want very big breasts but I want to look a bit more better with my clothes on and with many clothes you cannot wear a padded bra. I do not go to beach so for me it is not important but it is about the clothes that I want to wear. My mothers says that I should wait until I have children as they will get bigger but I wanted to have bigger breast for so long that I do not want to wait any longer. My friend went to Penang for a tummy tuck and she was very happy. Surgery in HK is expensive if you want a good surgeon and you have to know how to find them. You can go to china but I heard not many good story from this place so I talked to Wim in Penang. When I see the resume I am impressed that he worked in the USA, this means he must have a lot of experience with breast. My friend told me many things from her surgery and first I think that the local sounds scary. I am scared of blood and all this things so I worried. When I speak with Wim about this he tell me the difference and because many risks are with the general I decide to go for the local. I think of staying in the hotel that is half the price but my mum said that when you don’t feel well and maybe you stay in bed its nicer to have a good room. Wim say that if I have enough time I can fly with air asia that is cheap. I find cheap tickets and then my mum say she will come with me to look after me and make sure I am okay. I feel so much better when I know this. When we go for the surgery my mum also come with us and we smile at danny as he speak Chinese like children. He told us he leave Chinese school very young so his Chinese is not so good. It is okay so we talk about the surgery in English and I translate for my mum. I feel very good with him and he take his time to explain everything to me. It sounds scary but I am happy when I see pictures. When you see my pictures I m sure you can agree that it looks so much nice then before. I don’t remember much from the surgery but I know that I see some light and when I wake up Carol is getting me my clothes and they bring me to the room. I sleep until the evening when Wim and my mum come to see me and bring me some flowers. At that point I can think only about why I do this and it feels very tight in my chest. During the nights almost every hour the nurse come into my room to do something. I try not to wake but it was hard so I don’t get a good night sleep. I am grumpy the next day and want to go back to the hotel to watch the movies. I have to wait for danny to see me and wim and my mum. Then when we stay back at the hotel I just sleep until I wake up and feel hungry. Then I eat something in the room and go back to sleeping. At home I work about 16 hours a day and only sleep maybe 6 so here maybe I have to sleep a lot. The next day I feel like normal only that my chest feel tight like somebody sit on it. This stay like this for almost 2 more days. Danny explain that the muscle on my chest is very tights and it stretch only slowly to fit the implant. I do not care so much because when I look in the mirror to the side it looks very nice. My mum and I spend the rest of the time going to check up, shopping and eating. When they tell me the food in Penang is good I think maybe it’s the same as at home but it is very different. I eat a lot and don’t exercise but it is okay, almost I feel to lazy to go back to my work. My mum also says she like it very much and on the last day she talk to danny about doing a small face lift on her face. I think my dada now say it is a bad idea she come with me. Today I feel very happy with my new look and I can tell that if you think about it for a log time you should do it.

In October 2005 I came from Singapore to Beautiful Holidays in Penang for liposuction of my arms surgery. I stayed at the Lone Pine Hotel for 4 nights for my surgery. The procedure was done under LA with an IV sedation

I had recently lots about 20 pounds and I could feel that my arms were not getting any thinner. I was going to the gym about 3 times a week and did do weights on my arms but because they were so fat I was seeing no muscle definition. I knew liposuction was an option for other body parts but I never knew this could be done on arms. I decided to research it and went to see a surgeon in Singapore. He was very friendly and told me all about the surgery for liposuction on the arms. I was very interested and definitely wanted to go ahead. He then continued to tell me that the surgery would cost me around SS 4000. This was not what I wanted to spend on surgery. I then decided to continue going to the gym and trying to sav up. After about 2 months of trying not to think of it I met with some friends for lunch and one of them was telling about her sister’s trip to Penang for he tummy tuck. I was listening intently but did not want to give away that I wanted surgery. When I came home I searched the internet and found Beautiful Holidays. I asked of a quote and the next morning I had my answer. It was less then half the price I was paying in Singapore. I started communicating with Wim and after 3 days I decided to go ahead and do it.

I arrived from Singapore in the morning and I had my surgery in the afternoon. I spend 2 hours trying to relax in the hospital room while I waited for my consultation followed by surgery. I did not want to check into the hotel yet as I did not want to waste 1 night where I would be staying in the hospital after my surgery. Marloes came to get me from my hospital room for the consultation and this took about 30 minutes as I had not many questions for Dr Danny. After the consult I got a blue tablet to calm me down. Dr Danny prepared his operation room and himself for surgery and I was chatting to Marloes. She calmed me down a lot and said she would see me in a few hours back in my hospital room. I sort of goes a bit blur from there on. I don’t remember anything from the surgery, just waking up while they were wrapping my arms where I kept saying when do we start….but it was finished and Doreen wheeled me back to the hospital room. I was sleepy and slept most until Marloes visited me with some lovely flowers. I fell asleep while she was there but kept being woken up by the nurses every so often.

When I went back to the hotel the next day all I wanted to do was sleep and I was told this was normal. I called my family at home and went to sleep. When I work I was rather sore and I ordered some food and took a painkiller. They were rather strong and within 20 minutes I was fine again. The food in the hotel is lovely and room service was so nice, if they would have been any nicer they would have probably fed me my food. The next morning I took a shower and I could see in the difference already though offcourse it was very bruised and swollen. Dr Danny told me there might be some liquid collection and this is why when I went back the next day for my check up he drained a bit from my arms. He told me there was not a lot so it was not that bad. I must say that I was expecting more pain and discomfort. I know everybody reacts differently to it but wen I spoke to some previous clients they sort of scared me. So I guess that I am just a fast recoverer, which is a good thing because I plan to go back to Penang next year for some other surgeries. I am now almost 2 months post surgery and the result is amazing and I could not have been happier with it. I have the confidence to wear tops without sleeves now which is why I waited to get this surgery done. My friends can tell a difference and are impressed with the way it has changed my figure. This sounds strange but I think my arms kept my self esteem low and now I am more confident and walk with my shoulders back, this makes a difference I think.

In March 2005 I came from England to Beautiful Holidays in Penang for a tummy tuck surgery. I stayed at the Parkroyal Hotel for 14 nights for my tummy tuck surgery. The procedure was done under LA with an IV sedation.

“I have had 2 children in 2.5 years and this has not been kind on my body. I had my last child 2 years ago and since then have been trying hard to get back into shape. I go walking and/or to the gym 3 times a week and watch what I eat but it just seems that my abdomen refuses to go away. So I started looking for alternatives. I thought about liposuction but the surgeon here told me this would not get a good result and I would need a tummy tuck. I was quoted GBP 6000 for this, money I did not have available. When I started looking for options I came across this company and it seemed great. All my questions were answered properly so after checking the surgeon’s credentials I decided to go ahead. Wim booked me in for March, the period best for me as it meant my parents could look after the children.

After a long flight of 12 hours Marloes was at the airport to take me to the hotel where I would stay during my holiday. She told me all about the clients who came before for tummy tucks and what their general experience was, this made me feel better as I now knew better what to expect. The hotel was gorgeous and my room had an amazing view over the beach. After a short sleep due to jetlag I was picked up to go for the consultation followed by surgery.

After meeting the surgeon and discussing with him at length the tummy tuck, getting my list of questions answered and viewing photos of previous clients who had gone through tummy tucks I was ready to go ahead with the surgery. Doreen, the nurse of the surgeon, changed me into my gown and gave me some tablets to help me relax before surgery. Next thing I knew I was in a bed in the hospital room and there were some flowers on my bedside table. Marloes came in the next morning and told me I had slept through everything even her coming to visit me the previous night with flowers and comfort food. I had to stay in hospital for 2 nights so all I did was spend time reading and sleeping some more.

After being back in the hotel for about 3 days I was feeling much better and I went for short walks around the gardens and beach and within 1 week I was making short shopping trips to the shopping malls. I could not believe how cheap it was in Penang and I bought my kids lots of summer clothes for about 1/3 of what I would pay at home.

I went to see the surgeon a further 3 times for check ups while in Penang, with Marloes or Wim taking me to the hospital and staying with me during the check up. During my whole stay I was never in any pain, though there was a dull ache the first few days, which I expected. The first week it was difficult for me to walk up strait and I was slouching a bit. The surgeon gave me some exercises that I could do for this and they helped me a lot.

Since being back in the UK I have kept in touch with Wim to make sure that my recovery was going smoothly. In September I went to see Marloes and Dr Danny in London and as you can see from the picture the scar is fading nicely. This holiday has been one amazing experience for me and I cannot praise the whole team enough. The service level is extremely high and Marloes and Wim are warm and friendly people with a lot of knowledge about the procedure and the island. My husband and I plane to return to Penang next year with our family for a holiday which will be lovely as the place is beautiful. I can recommend Beautiful Holidays to anybody.

In July 2005 I came from Scotland to Beautiful Holidays in Penang for 12 Veneers. I stayed at the Lone Pine Hotel for 7 nights and paid a total of GBP 1250 for Veneers and dental package, hotel and all services. My flight to Penang was on Malaysian Airlines from London and this cost me GBP 490.

“Ever since I was very young have been unhappy with my teeth. It was not just the color but it was mainly the shape of them and some of the spaces and gaps between my teeth. Not being very informed about what can be done with dental work I did not know that anything could be done about it. My dentist is rather old and he would only ever say that I should be happy that my teeth are strong and healthy. I was reading Hello magazine one day and there was this article about a star getting her teeth fixed through veneers and it was exactly what I wanted. There was something mentioned about how expensive it was to get this done but that it was popular in Hollywood. This made me think it would be far beyond my budget and I let it rest.

A few months ago I met a woman at my gym that had been to Penang for a breast augmentation; she told me all about it and said she also visited the dentist while she was there. She gave me the email address of Wim and I asked him about the options for my teeth. After sending the pictures I got a reply the next day with the advice of the dentist to go for 12 veneers so that I would get the teeth that I had always wanted. The price I got was okay for me as I knew now that I wanted to go ahead with this and there was no way I could pay to do it in Scotland as it would cost me at least 2 times as much.

I arranged my vacation at work and set up my dates with Wim. It was all very informative and I got really excited about going. When I arrived in Penang, Marloes was taking me to the Lone Pine Hotel and gave me a quick tour. My room had this small patio outside and was just lovely. The beach was right at the end of the garden and you can see the sea from the pool, and as there is no down time with the procedure I spend a lot of time by the pool and on the beach. The next day early morning Marloes took me to the dentist. He did a check up of my teeth and he had some very high tech equipment. Once he determined all was right with my teeth we discussed the shape and color I wanted for the veneers and he started to prepare my teeth for the veneers. This took about an hour and was not painful at all.

The next 5 days I had to wait for the laboratory to prepare the veneers for me and spend my time looking around Penang and enjoying my holiday. When it was time to go back to the dentist I was rather nervous as I was hoping my teeth would look as great as they did on the before and after pictures I had seen. The dentist cleaned my teeth again and prepared them for the veneers. He had 3 assistants so it all went rather fast. When he placed the first 4 on my top teeth he showed me in a mirror what they looked like and it was such a huge difference that I couldn’t wait to get the rest fitted on. All in all it took only about one and a half hours.

Once it was done it did feel a bit strange to begin with as I had to get used to the feeling. The dentist advised me to be careful with my teeth and look after them properly with flossing and brushing. I couldn’t stop looking in the mirror once I got back to the hotel room and till today I am so happy about my new smile. They look wonderful and I have had so many compliments from my friends and even people I meet for the first time. I feel my teeth are much more part of me now and I am not shy to laugh with my mouth wide open. It has definitely improved my self esteem and I can’t tell you how happy I am with them.

In March 2005 I travelled to Penang, Malaysia, with Beautiful Holidays for a breast implant replacement and a breast lift. The procedure was done under local anaesthetic with sedation with an overnight stay in hospital. I spent one week at the fabulous E&O and one week at the Grand Plaza Park Royal.

I decided to choose Beautiful Holidays.com after seeing a Sky One programme called Sun, Sea and Silicone. Having already had one breast augmentation six years ago with a surgery in Harley Street, and not being happy with it, I had reservations about going to another surgery in the UK. My first BA had been done over the muscle, using 300cc implants. The surgeon whom I had learnt to trust recommended this procedure to me. Unfortunately, being of small build, and not having much breast tissue left, the weight of the implants over the six years caused my breasts to sag, and were no longer the round and full breasts I had wanted.

After thoroughly reading through the website, I decided to fill in the application form to see, out of interest, the difference in price from the UK. After a couple of days I received a very comprehensive proposal from Wim. It provided me with all the information regarding what was included in the price. From then onwards I mailed Wim many times with various questions I had about the clinic, the surgeon, the procedure etc etc, which were all addressed and answered very quickly. I felt that I had established a great relationship with Wim over e-mails and I felt able to ask him absolutely anything. My greatest surprise what was how the prices were so competitive.

I decided to go ahead and book, and both myself and partner flew out to Malaysia for two weeks. We were met at the airport my Marloes and taken to the E&O. On the way she gave us an abundance of very useful information about Penang, the surgery and most importantly the shopping. She also had for us an information pack which included the pick up times for my consultation two days later. The hotel was amazing; we were both so impressed at the service and friendliness of all the staff. I had a full day before surgery to relax by the pool and take in the feel and atmosphere of Penang.

On the morning of surgery I had my consultation with Dr Danny. We discussed at length what procedure would suit me and I reviewed photos of pervious patients. He answered all my questions and I felt happy to proceed with surgery. I was impressed with the cleanliness and friendliness of Dr Danny and his staff. After surgery I was taken to the hospital to recover. During my stay Wim popped into see me and brought me flowers, which was lovely. It was nice to have my partner there with me in the hospital; it's comforting to have a familiar face there when you are miles away from home.

After being discharged I was taken to see Dr Danny for a further three check-ups, which were all fine. To my surprise I was up and out for dinner the day after surgery. By two days after surgery I was by the pool, soaking up the sun and working on my tan. Whist in Penang I also decided to visit the dentist to have my teeth whitened. Once again I was picked up and taken to my appointment by Marloes, nothing was too much trouble for her. The results were great. I had pearly white teeth, new boobs and a great tan, what more could I want.

The second week in Penang we moved to the Park Royal, which was also very nice. It was right on the beach, lovely swimming pools with more of a beach holiday feel. Here I was able to relax by the pool and take it easy. There are numerous restaurants to eat at and if you enjoy shopping then the night market is a must. On a couple of occasions we met up with Marloes for dinner. We met some of her friends and her partner who also made us feel so welcome. At all times we felt in safe hands and everyone made us feel at home. We didn't want to come home…!!

My whole experience from start to finish was amazing and one I will never forget. I cannot recommend Beautiful Holidays enough. It was first class. I am so happy with my decision to have my second breast augmentation with them, and I am over the moon with the results. >From the first day I arrived, the organisation was excellent and I never felt like they didn't know what they were doing. I would recommend BH to anyone who wishes to have surgery, and also enjoy a wonderful holiday on a beautiful island. If anyone is thinking of going to Penang for surgery and would like any questions answered, Beautiful Holidays have my e-mail address, I would be more than happy to help.

I plan to have laser eye surgery some time in the future and I will definitely consider using Beautiful Holidays again.
